Season Starting to Turn Around Clara City, MN (July 24) - With the race season flying past the halfway point, the bad luck that has plagued the Tammen race team seems to be taking a turn. Recent runs include 2 clean sweeps in a row at Madison Speedway, a sweep in Willmar, a win in Alexandria along with another strong second place finish in the super stock. Ever so close to first Super Stock win Clara City, MN (July 2) - This past Sunday in Madison seemed to be bitter sweet as we picked up a clean sweep in the Street Stock, but for the second week in a row in the Super Stock, the first win wouldn't come easy. With 5 laps to go on Sunday night, with a sizeable lead, the right front tire decided to go down on what seemed to be the night we would score our first win. The scenario was very similar the week before, with Ross Dixon scoring the win on a last lap pass after leading most of the race. Check out all of the results from the past couple of weeks under the results section. The 4th of July is here, which means there are plenty of race specials going on, so get out and enjoy a race! Storms invade Alex after great start to night Clara City, MN (June 17) - After a 4th place finish on Friday night in Monte, Cory was ready to rebound on a trip to Alex on Saturday. After winning heats in both classes, thunderstorms rolled in and forced us out of the fairgrounds for the night. Video's from the past couple of weeks have been posted under the results section, as well as this highlight from the super stock feature in Alexandria on June 7th with our best finish of the season.
Big weekend on Tap Clara City, MN (June 3) - Starting on Wednesday this week, a five night stretch of racing starts at Madison Speedway for their "Summer Sizzler" event, with stops at KRA, Fiesta City, Alexandria/Brainerd, and Golden Spike after. First full weekened of racing ends strong Clara City, MN (May 20) - Visits to KRA, Fiesta, Viking, and Madison Speedways filled the card for the first full weekend of the 2008 season which included a clean sweep in Madison. Madison Street Stock Feature Madison Super Stock Feature Princeton able to avoid yet another washout weekend Clara City, MN (May 12) - The 71x machine paid a visit to Princeton on Friday, which ended up being a great decsion with the rest of the weekend rained out yet again. This next week will be very busy, with stops to Willmar, Monte, Alex, and Madison, with weather permitting of course..... :-) 2008 Season already underway with solid run at DSFS Clara City, MN (May 7) - Tammen Racing jumped at any chance to race last weekend after two washed out weekends left them looking for any track that thought they could race. Huron, SD was the destination, and proved to be a great track to get everything broken in. Check out the results page for more info.
