In the interview Tammen recalls his first career Super Stock feature win at Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, SD as well as his win at the Ed Wilson Memorial Super Stock Special in Willmar, Mn. Tammen pulled double duty all season long finishing second in WISSOTA Street Stock National points as well as winning his 2nd consecutive WISSOTA (Central) 100 crown, this time at Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, SD. Tammen Doubles His Fun During 08' Wissota Runs By Ray Beste CLARA CITY, MN - In today's racing world, a dirt track competitor may burn the midnight oil trying to figure out how to be fast in a particular division. In 2008, Cory Tammen found the time to be fast in not only one but two different divisions. With his WISSOTA Street Stock, Tammen finished second in the national point standings, 39 markers behind first-time champion Allen Gessell, Jr. As a rookie in a WISSOTA Super Stock, Tammen finished 13th in national points and was named Rookie of the Year.
